Many people assume that detecting a gas leak is part of a standard home inspection. It is not. It requires specialized equipment. As an added service, we do offer gas leak detection. We use a TIF 8900 combustible gas leak detector to pinpoint the location of combustible gas leaks as low as 5 ppm. It detects a broad range of natural gases including propane, methanol, butane, and gasoline.
