Special Structural Assessment by an Engineer
Sometimes there is a specific structural issue that concerns you such as a foundation crack, damage from a fallen tree branch, or termite damage. In these cases, we have engineers on staff who provide targeted structural inspection services to address issue at hand. You can opt for our findings to be included in a detailed inspection report, or just a verbal summary (no report, costs a bit less). Advanced Structural Assessment
An advanced structural assessment is the structural portion of the routine home inspection, but with added investigation, to include additional measurements beyond a standard home inspection. For residential properties an advanced structural evaluation takes additional time and requires special tools. All structural components are inspected, such as the roof structure, walls, floors, structural framing, trusses, foundation, etc. You will receive a written report signed/sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer. Routine Home Inspection with Advanced Structural Assessment
Many home inspection companies routinely recommend having a structural engineer evaluate conditions. With us, there is never a need to bring in a third-party structural engineer to advise you. All of our inspectors are specially trained to understand when structural conditions require the eyes of an engineer, and in cases where our inspector is not an engineer and finds conditions that require additional expertise, they are trained to collect the necessary structural field data to have our in-house engineer provide a review. Note: This service is only for buyers during the standard real estate purchase.
