Heather Astwood
Home Inspector, Environmental Specialist
Heather has been working for Kemp Home Inspections, LLC since the doors opened in 2012. She holds a master’s degree in Nuclear Geochemistry and an undergraduate degree in Geology. She has wide experience in environmental issues, hydrology, health physics, but her passion is home improvement. She has two roles, as a home inspector she brings a methodical approach to evaluating houses, but her educational background and approach to problem-solving allow her to solve some of most puzzling “wet basement” projects. Heather plays a key role in our team in environmental testing, and basement water issues, especially as it pertains to mold.
Melodie Brodin
Office Admin/Scheduling
Melodie is the frontline “voice” of Kemp Home Inspections. She joined us in 2020 at the start of COVID, and has been invaluable in helping us adapt to the changing inspection landscape. Her enthusiasm for her work and attention to detail makes her a critical member of the Kemp Home Inspections team.
